Your order will be shipped within 1-2 business days. Standard First Class shipping generally takes 3-5 business days to arrive after being shipped (depending on where in the US you are located; we ship from Whittier, CA). For a faster delivery, you can upgrade your shipping to Priority Mail (please note that the handling time of 1-2 business days will still apply). You will have multiple shipping options at checkout including UPS. Please be aware that we are not responsible for any deliver times/delays by the shipping services.
For international orders, shipping will not be covered and you will have multiple shipping options at checkout ($10 to $30 depending on location and weight). Orders that are shipped via USPS First Class International takes approximately 7-28 business days depending on location. For an additional fee, orders can be upgraded to Priority Mail International which takes 6-10 business days depending on location.
If you place an order from a country outside of the United States, you may be subject to applicable customs, import duties and taxes, which are the sole responsibility of the buyer/receiver. Additionally, the order may be subject to applicable customs inspections and holds which may cause a delay and are the responsibility of the buyer/receiver to resolve.
Are your items in stock? When can I expect the items to be shipped out after I've placed my order?
Unless stated otherwise on the product page (for group buy or preorder items), an item is in stock when you can add it to cart. We will ship out your order within 1-2 business days. Should an item be out of stock, it will reflect that when you try to add the item into your cart. We update our stock inventory accordingly.
When will you restock an item?
Most of our keysets are limited and is usually an one-time run due to the lengthy production time of each set. Some sets will get re-produced but usually through a pre-order as it is difficult to simply restock the item. If you like a set, be sure to secure it, as it is most likely not going to get reproduced.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we ship worldwide using First Class International, Priority International, and Priority Express International. First Class generally takes 7-21 business days (no guarantees), Priority International takes 6-10 business days with a tracking number and Priority Express International that takes 3~5 business days with a tracking number. All delivery times are estimated and varies by country.
Are my international packages tracked?
All Priority International and Priority Express International are tracked until it reaches the destination. These packages are also insured up to $200 in case of loss or damage.
For First Class International, there is no guaranteed delivery, which compensates for its low cost. So, use this method at your own risk! We are not responsible for any lost or damaged items. The number that you receive is usually not a tracking number, but a customs number. First Class packages are not insured.
According to the USPS, tracking for First Class International is only available if package is delivered to the following countries: Australia, Belgium, Canada, Croatia, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Great Britain and Northern Ireland, Hungary, Israel, Latvia, Lebanon, Lithuania, Malaysia, Malta, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Singapore, Slovak Republic, Spain, Switzerland and Turkey.
Why isn't my tracking updating?
Please allow at least 24 hours for the tracking to update. You receive a shipping notification when we process the shipment, but it will take some time for the courier to actually receive the item and scan it. Please also note that with USPS, they fail to scan the packages as well, which results in no tracking updates.
When do you fulfill orders?
We fulfill orders on Monday-Friday. We are closed on the weekends and on some major holidays. If you place an order on a Friday, please expect your order to be fulfilled the following week.
What do I do if my item got lost or damaged?
The only packages that are insured are USPS Priority Mail and UPS. If you have used these methods and your item got damaged, please contact us and we will help resolve it on your behalf. If the item has been marked as delivered and you claim that it is lost, we will not be responsible. The best thing to do is to ask your neighbors or your local mailman to confirm.
RETURNS - Please email us with your name, order number and problem before sending back your products to ensure that your order is eligible for a return/exchange. All return requests must be made within 30 days of you order's shipping date. We will provide a full refund of the item if the return is postmarked within 10 business days of delivery date. If the item is returned after 10 days, there will be a 10% restocking fee due to the nature of our products.
Items must be in its original unopened packaging and in new, unused condition. If there are signs of damage, use or missing items (including original packaging), we will charge a restocking fee of 15-20%, as we see fit.
Items such as switches, springs and stabilizers are not eligible for returns as they can be easily modified (please email us if you are unsure whether or not your order is eligible for a return).
The return package must also include the packing slip/invoice included with your shipment. We are not responsible for packages returned to us with no indication of name and/or order number. Shipping costs will not be covered and will not be refunded. You are responsible for the cost of shipping if you are returning the item due to buyer's remorse and the original shipping costs will not be returned.
RETURNS on Defective Items - This applies to electronic items, such as keyboards. Please email us with your name and order number if you have any issues with your keyboard within 14 days of the shipping date. Our team will try our best to diagnose the issue and provide troubleshooting help. If the issue is something that cannot be fixed with our help, you have the choice of sending the product back to us. You will be invoiced for the return shipping and a return label will be sent to you (not applicable for international orders). Once we receive the item and determine that it is manufacturer defect, we will issue a refund/exchange. If we find no issue with the item, you will be refunded only the cost of the item. We are not held responsible for the return of the shipping costs.
Price Adjustments - If an item's price drops, we will allow price adjustments and provide a partial refund to match the price within 7 days of your original purchase date. You will need to email us within 7 days.
CANCELLATIONS USING PAYPAL - As of October 2019, Paypal has modified their refund policy. For cancellations/refunds of orders, Paypal will no longer refund the initial fees (4.5% of order total). If you place an order and change your mind at no fault of Originative, your refund will be the total minus 4.5% of the order total. This rate will vary for international orders. To avoid this fee, store credit can be issued for the full amount instead. Please double check all items before making your purchase.
CANCELLATIONS USING CREDIT CARDS - As of March 2020, The refund policy has been modified out of our control. For cancellations/refunds of orders using any credit cards, the 3% fee taken out of the transaction will no longer be refunded. If you place an order and change your mind at no fault of Originative, your refund will be the total minus 3% of the order total. To avoid this fee, store credit can be issued for the full amount instead. Please double check all items before making your purchase.
